Location: ‘s-Hertogenbosch area, Netherlands
Starting date: 1 may

Contract:
Full-time 38 hours, 7 months contract, 1st month probation
Gross salary: Approximately €2,600 – €2,800 gross per month depending on experience
Net income: Approximately €2.400+ per month excluding holiday reservations
Extra’s: Reservations for holiday (8%), holidays and tips

Accommodation: Large apartment on top of the restaurant shared with 1 other person also working in the restaurant. Large living room and kitchen are available.
Price accommodation: €700 per month including the bills, excl. governmental taxes (€10-15 per month).

About the restaurant
The restaurant is a busy and popular spot in the center of a small village located between the cities ‘s-Hertogenbosch and Nijmegen. The restaurant is a so called Eetcafé, which means that there is a fast working kitchen that serves trendy and tasty dishes, that are served quit quickly. The restaurant uses quality products. Specially on weekends it can be very busy but also during weekdays there is always a moving environment in the restaurant.

About the Role
As Chef de Partie, you will play an important role in our kitchen team, working together with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to deliver stabile quality on our dishes. This position offers the opportunity to improve your culinary skills, contribute to menu development, and help maintain the standards of our restaurant.

Theme Evenings
Once you will be adapted to the company, we are open to give you the opportunity to organize a theme evening, where you can present the dishes from your hometown to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Food Preparation: Prepare and present dishes in your section to the quality standards.
  • Menu Collaboration: Assist in the development and refinement of new menu items. New ideas are always welcome.
  • Quality Control: Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage stock levels, ensuring minimal waste.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service.

What We’re Looking For

  • Min. 2 years proven experience in a Chef de Partie or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
  • Passion for cooking and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Culinary education is a plus.
